In addition, all intermediate doors have concealed stainless steel shootbolts that engage securely into the top and bottom tracks. All glass is toughened safety which is internally beaded so cannot be removed from outside the property to enhance your security giving you complete peace of mind.
Achieving the look you're after is important but equally, so is the performance. The 70 Series bi folding doors conform to the latest building regulations with an achievable u-value of 1.6/m2K. This will increase your fuel efficiency and help keep your fuel bills under control which, at a time of rising energy costs can only be good.
Weather tightness is achieved through the use of multiple weather seals, which combined with high performing soft coat argon filled toughened glass sealed units, contribute to efficient temperature control and guard against even the most extreme weather conditions.
Our bi folding doors can open into or out of the property, sliding and folding effortlessly to the left or right on a bottom running track and can be split to open in a variety of ways to suit your individual needs. When fully open the doors stack neatly to allow up to 90% of the space to be used. In comparison, most sliding doors result in only 50% of the opening being available to use.
